We believe in being as open and honest with our members and visitors as possible, so we put together some terms and disclaimers so there were no secrets between us. :)
We do our best to provide our visitors and members the best information possible. We know we cannot provide all the answers to questions that come up, and cannot guarantee that your Dessert Experiences, dessert table, or anything else you create from tips, recommendations, or information from Sweet Society will turn out exactly like expected or as described on our site - these are, after all, our experiences in the planning and creative process, and no two people/processes/experiences are alike no matter how precisely they follow the same steps. So, unfortunately, we have to say everything provided is done on an "as is" basis, and we cannot take responsibility for any outcomes that may occur. But we are here to help, and we will try our best to figure out solutions to any problems you may encounter, so please feel free to
contact us.
We do use Photoshop from time to time to adjust certain aspects of images that we have taken that might have not been captured correctly because of bad lighting. We do not add, alter, or edit anything to the fundamentals of our images as we believe in showing our true desserts... not all of which look perfect, but nor do we believe that they always do. We show the good, the bad, and the ugly, but believe in making subtle lighting adjustments to ensure you can see everything in its full glory. We also utilize stock photography from time to time for certain sections of the site and only when used as a representation/illustration of the content that we are presenting. We also use photography cultivated from other sites from around the web when referencing their content/desserts, but explicitly reference/link to those sites/sources below those images. All photography of the desserts and dessert tables in our Experiences and Recipes as well as found throughout our site, which aren't otherwise specifically referenced, has been taken by Sweet Society, and should not be republished without explicit permission.
When crafting and creating our Dessert Experiences, our dessert tables, and our desserts, we try to find and utilize only the best possible products to showcase each experience as best as we can. After all, our goal is to help inspire and show you how to create the best Dessert Experiences possible for any and all upcoming occasions you may have. As such, we link to these same products, and the sites that sell them, in an effort to help you achieve this goal, the goal of creating an amazing dessert table for you and your guests. In the process, we do utilize affiliate links on some of our recommendations which enables us to earn a small commission in the situation you do decide to purchase a recommended product. We now, and only ever will, link to these best possible products that are fit to be featured in a Sweet Society Experience.
